February 10, 2006 - annual event.

Design Hope Toronto's 2006 inaugural fundraiser was a great success. Almost $8,000 was raised for Dixon Hall's Homeless, Hostels and Housing program, well over the projected goal.

The event was hosted by the charismatic Nadine Hinds-Powell of CityTV, and auctioneer Bill Kime of Waddington's Auctioneers and Appraisers was quite humorous and kept the evening light and fun.

There was, of course, some serious bidding going on. And why not, as the pieces being auctioned were created by some of the most talented artists in the Toronto area.

The evening could not have gone as smoothly as it did without the equipment donated by Exclusive Affair Rentals Ltd. And to top it off, there was good food, courtesy of Encore Food with Elegance, and even better company.

When everyone comes together to support our community, the results can be amazing. Nothing beats having a great time for a great cause.
