About the Work
My mom and I decided to go to Scott Mission on Spadina to take some photographs related to homelessness. We shot a few with the sign that I had made. We decided to walk for awhile and then off in the distance we heard music. We followed the melodies we were hearing and saw a man in front of the Liquor store playing for change. I asked him if I could take his picture. I snapped a couple and here are a few.
About the Artist
Ciera Highgate is 14 years old and attends grade 9 at Parkdale Collegiate Institute.
