Inside Out

acrylic and mixed media, found objects
16" x 24"

About the Work

Shelter is depicted in this work through the tension between the opposites. It deals with both the outdoors and home interiors, light and dark, and the natural and man-made. The piece incorporates found man-made objects from within a home and interprets the organic landscape with them. It addresses collecting things that surround us and, in turn, the collecting and the objects themselves become reflections of who we are in the world.
