About the Work

Battle Harbour is a small island off the coast of Labrador. Inhabited for over two centuries, it served as a center for the fishing and seal industries. It is now preserved as a National Historic Site and its many old building structures are a testament to an industry that is no longer. It is a place of memories, hopes and dreams; a privilege to see and a delight to photograph.
