About the Work
Seeking shelter (a position or the state of being covered or protected) is inherent in all living things. As I approached their pasture, these sheep gathered together under the trees. Thankful at the time that this fit them all nicely into frame, I am more grateful still that the resulting image seems to me to embody the simple beauty of a safe refuge.
About the Artist
Brian Deignan is a partner in JNSQ Design, a Toronto interior design and custom furniture studio. An avid photographer for most of his life, his camera helps him to observe and experience the world around him; its details and its panorama; its beauty and its truth.
