About the Work
Abode and Leaflet are created with the intent of uniting natural lines created by the human hand, with a home, abode, or shelter. Most of my work reflects nature or landscape in some form, and I am intrigued by its mystery. I am captivated by the possibility of a narrative between shelter and nature, the earliest construction of home.
About the Artist
Andrea Lau BFA graduated from the Ontario College of Art and Design with a print-making major. Andrea has been in several print exchanges and exhibitions, through which her work has traveled worldwide. She is a self taught jewelry artist currently working on her leather jewelry line, Lau-Haus Designs. Andrea is currently living in Calgary, creating new artwork inspired by her surroundings.
